BEWARE: PIKIES

a warning to everyone who does the old 'hide the car keys in the rocks' trick...

my boyfriend and I got our car yoinked from the lay-by at rest bay this arvo after putting the keys under a rock. according to the police it happens all the time, they sit on the cliffs with binoculars and get away with a car a week. we were in the water for about 40 mins (q. chilly this time of year) and they're nasty bastarrds as well, they got our phones and rang all our mates/family to laugh at the fact that we were stranded on the beach in the dark freezing our titties off with only soggy wetsuits for warmth...

don't rely on the police to help you out either. we waited 2 1/2 hours for them with no sign before getting a mate to pick us up instead (luckily a nice local let us in his house)

They can be locked onto your suspension springs, towing eye, whatever and you just have to remember the combination to unlock it - can be bought online http://www.extremehorizon.com/keypod-info.asp .
