Hell yes.
Libby has never had a southern hemisphere summer xmas so the plan is this, we'll have a dawnie (well about a 7am-nie really) and then come in & open the pressies...then pack a cold turkey picnic lunch and drive up the coromandle area to a spot that shall go un-named here which involves a 1km hike through forest with no crowds nor other surfers and spend the day surfing a nice little beachbreak, lying in the sun, eating good food and napping. Before coming home to rest our weary bodies....before we do it all again the day after...at a different spot.

Ahhh, the joys of southern hemisphere/summer xmas living...

... well if santa helps me find the cash to buy my winter wetty then i think i'll go in for a paddle like last year .
Sure as hell not trying my " no worries me shorty will be ok" again .. seriously , nearly didnt make it off of Woolacombe beach last new years !!! ..and then had brain freeze out in the pub later that day and found myself pouring sugar into the ashtray instead of my coffee !! ... went through 4 sachets before i realised what i was doing , much to the amusement of the " we told you not to go in " fraternity ..
