How old are you, what experience do you have, hard or soft board, epoxy or PU :?: Male or female :?:
Where and what are you intending to surf :?:

Long is better and easier to learn on, if you can go to a surf school they will have different boards to try

I’m a beginner. I’ve never surfed before. I’m a male 5’10 and 155 pounds. I heard soft tops are good. I just want a board that’s easy to learn on and catch basic waves. I’m not interested in doing tricks yet. My main question has to do with the length of the board. 8ft, 9ft, 10ft…which is better

Now for basic surfing and your weight and size a 9ft soft top will fit your needs. Have good look around any stores and see what is available that you like> Before you buy post a picture here and we can advise if it is suitable :D
