Splendid south surf session

What a great days surfing I had yesterday

Down on the notoriously fickle south coast at Bracklesham, it was a great day. Waist high, glassy smooth, clean, and the occasional chest high set coming in
About 30 people in the water, but its a big ol' beach break so no crowd problems, and all friendly smiles

And when the rogue set of the day came in, headhigh+, I was startled to discover I was in perfect position and had priority and rode the guts out of it

Best surf Ive ever had on the south coast, and one of the most fun days Ive had this year

I ache today though... too many clean waves, I didnt stop paddling/surfing for about four hours

i had a great sesh at saunton today really jacked up for a few hours around mid day some solid head high waves rolling in for a few hours, not long till the gloves and hood come out was froozen after 2 1/2 hours in today

Whereabouts on the S Coast was it?

Bracklesham, near Wittering, just east of the isle of wight. I've had lots of 'average' sessions there, but this was the first time Ive seen it this good

Its restored my faith in the south coast!

had a ssweet small sesh at praa sands (s.coast) almost got a cover up type ting!!! till i fell off welllooking at the lip be hind me in amazement !
