Walden Fusion Parabolic Construction (Surftech)

Hi guys

I saw in a surf shop the Walden Magic Model in Fusion Parabolic construction and loved it.
Much lighter than the V TechTuflite version and looked razor-sharp!
I live in New Zealand, and the only Walden boards that get here are through Surftech.

I was looking for used boards online and saw a board used for less than a year and it was already full of pressure dings on the top.
Probably around 20 of them.
I have other surfboards from Surftech and they are super durable, but this construction is exclusive to Walden and probably not well-proven, as they started making them in 2020.
Has anyone heard about the Walden/Surftech Fusion Parabolic Construction and whether the boards are durable?

I found feedback from people who had Surftech Walden boards with the same glassing technology.
Apparently they suck ; stay away from them.

Great board, but durability issues with Fusion HD

After about 20 sessions it is riddled with pressure dings, even at the spots where I place my hands on the pop-up. I never had this issue with my old PE boards, even in the days when I rode potato chip shortboards with thin glass jobs. I'm curious if others have had this issue. If I ever replace it I'll probably go with the molded epoxy version and sacrifice some weight and flex in exchange for more long term durability

Hi, I had the Parabolic Fusion version of the Walden Magic (9ft). It snapped in half after 6 months in modest head-high waves. It has no stringer in it at all and pressure dented immediately from duck diving using a knee. Brilliant board otherwise and super light weight. I bought a PU version of the same board, which is tougher with a wooden stringer and less prone to pressure dents, its good but not as good for performing rapid changes of direction as the lighter Parabolic Fusion version. I'd buy another Parabolic Fusion board if I didn't think it might snap easily so I'm keen to know if anyone else's has broken?
