Storing your Surfboard...

Postby Laguna » Mon Nov 07, 2005 10:49 pm

Hey, I was just wondering whre you all keep your surfboards? I am looking to buy a surfboard stand or a wall rack to hold my 2 surfboards as I have no where to keep them. Does anyone know where I can buy a decent surfboard holder for my room?

Some of the wall holders look pretty cool but the ones ive seen are quite expensive.

Anyone know where to buy good board holders? Thanks

You can get something called 'Show Off' racks, but I've got a set of hooks for ladders in my garage and my board & my brother in law's board hang off them in their bags.

I was wondering the same thing... I'd love to see pics of how people are supporting their boards up on the wall. Mine's propped in its bag in a corner of my closet at the moment. I'm considering trying to put something up so I can store it up on the wall (still in the bag), but haven't decided if I want a board bag to be the focal point of my room yet. :b Definitely can't put it anywhere else since it wouldn't be safe with the cats or the roommate...

thanks for the replies. I am going to redecorate my room soon and want to give it a beach/surf theme and style and was thinking of buying a nice rack display to hang them on the wall (out of bag). I know its easier and cheaper to make a rack but I want a nice finish so the room can look tidy like u see in shops. Ill have to have more looks on the net
