Side Cut surfboards What your thoughts ?

Just stumbled onto these surfboard designs that's actually many years old. What do you think ?

I think it has good recover / exit speed out of cutbacks from what I can see in the videos.

I would need to see the surfers using a similar board without the cutout areas. Looks to me like they are recovering from some issue with the board from time to time. Could just be they aren't used to the board and turning it like it was some other board.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Seeing a lot of sidecut fishes online. TBH, they don't look that good.

My shaper called it a peanut shape, had it done when I tried finless surfing, not sure I really liked it, but it worked fine
