depends how severe. what does it look like? any pitures?

sun cure is very easy to use and pretty cheap. i have used it before and have had great results. good thing about it is you dont have to rush to finish before it gets hard, if you work inside, you have all the time you want to shape it in the ding right, then you bring it outside in the sun and it is ready to ride again in like 10 mins.

it is sold in a small tube in most any surf shop - pretty inexpensive, like $10 US. It is a kind of gel like substance. you apply it inside, smooth it over the ding to your desired thickness, etc. then you take your board outside in the sun. the stuff hardens in the sun, takes about 5-10 mins in direct sun, a little longer if its overcast. gets real hard, then if you want you can sand down the edges to make it nice and smooth. works very well and is very easy to use. i like it because it will not start to harden until you bring it into the sunlight, so it gives you all the time you want. other ding repair stuff hardens faster, and involves mixing in hardeners and stuff.

also, the tube i got included a couple plastic square sheets, to form the gel to the rail and have it be smooth. had very good results with mine.
