Morocco hygiene/raw sewage

We were looking to come surfing for ; weeks in December Anchor point.. however after reading how bad the hygiene is and how much everyone gets sick I’m really worried... I just get over the big C and immune system isn’t wonderful... any advice??? Maybe Portugal instead??? Or are other surf areas of Morocco cleaner....
