RAIN

Postby TokyotheKid » Tue Oct 18, 2005 7:47 am

I hate the rain but i love it too.

Good Reasons: when i surf it makes it fun, not many people are out in the water, its refreshing

Bad Reasons: makes this surf spot i go to polluted from the river mouth, water is choppy, the waves suck

so pretty much im sitting at home now while its raining andddd yeah i had to say something and im bored,

later

i love rain. i live in hawaii and hate the sun. but it rains a lot too. it makes everything pretty and colorful. it also makes for good night time pictures. it scares all the tourists out of the water. and makes the air temperature habitable.
when the river by my house floods it reminds me of how stupid humans are to think they can control her. it washes away cars when people are stupid enough to leave them, and rips apart the newly paved street and theyre too stupid to fugure out it will flood again next year. morons. i love it.

Last night we were told were would get 4inchs of

rain and as i live in a valley next 2 a river i was

expecting about 5 ft! Living in the

rainiest county in England basically means you have to learn 2 like

it of lump it. But it can be refreshing i

would prabably hate it if it never rained, so i

shouldn't really complain 8) xxx

You surfing Newport Rivermouth?

i surf in dana point at doheny state park, since its the closest longboarding spot for me. I give that place a week before i go in after it rains, so i just go to other spots like san onofre

Seal Beach in OC, California is one of the places you'd want to stay away after it rains.

1. You see all sorts of stuff floating. Paddle, paddle, paddle, ooops... Doritos bag. Paddle, paddle, paddle, oops... baby diapers.

2. Weird things under water. There was this one time when I tripped on a traffic cone - yes, those orange cones they put on the road. Oh and there was this other time when I stepped on a piece of broken hull - yes, a small chunk of curved thick piece of metal that's all rusty and stuff. Oh yet another time when my foot got caught in a fishin line. Plenty of fish in the ocean and I happen to pass as one.

Try surfing in 3mph north winds with hail stones the size of peas...

Obiviusly even the 100ft cliff didn't offer that much protection :(
