Small wave or All condition surfboard

Hey guys,
I’m looking for a new surfboard that suit for me. I’m consider to find a small wave surfboard or a surfboard for all condition.

As the wave in my place are small (1-4ft), i will surf to bali also.
I‘m beginner to intermediate surfer
182cm and 72kg.

Heres my option:
1. Slater design - Cymatic
2. Firewire - Seaside
3. Slater Design - No-brainer
4. Slater Design - Sci-Fi
5. HS - Hypto Krypto

There have only one boardshop at my place, which only find the famous brand’s surfboard.(eg. Firewire, HS, Pyzel, Sharpeye)

I have no idea which type of board is suit to me (small wave / all wave type)
Which one would you guys recommend for?
Or would u have an other option?

what size board are you looking at? What boards have you previously surfed?

Of the boards listed, none are really suitable for a beginner level surfer. The hypto krypto is probably the most forgiving - still not a beginners board. Are there other options eg firewire seaAx or greedy beaver or anything like that?

Im 180cm height, 70kg, looking for 30L, sorry for my mistake.
Because I live in HongKong where have only two surf spot (1-3ft in summer, 4-5ft max in winter, close out beach break)
I need to find a board can surf in my place and bali.
I have 3 board
NSP Elements 7’2
Unknown brand shallow tail 6’3
vampirate inflatable mattress 5’6

And that shop have thos board only. But i think i can use them as I can cutback with the inflatable mattress.

Sorry very easy to cut back on an air mattress while lying down, has no bearing on being able to cut back standing!

Take my advice with a grain of salt, I have not surfed any of the boards you have mentioned nor am I particularly skilled surfer. I can run through the basics well enough...most days.

Other than the No Brainer and possibly the Hypto the other boards seem like they are better fit for a more experienced surfer.

Have you looked at the Hayden Shapes :Untitled"? I wouldn't plan on it replacing your NSP or Inflatable Mattress but would compliment it as It is intended for waves 3-8'. And with the wide point forward and wide outline it can do the smaller stuff too, so you can get by if the surf ends up being less than you anticipated. I tried one out recently and I was really impressed in how well it worked in a range of beach conditions.

For andras - what is it about your current boards that you want to change? I think your current quiver is pretty good for HK conditions (I used to live there so know what they are).

I still think the Hypto is probably the best out of the ones you listed, but I’m not sure what it offers over the mattress

The IM is absolutely good board for HK condition, but I wanna find a board can surf 5-8ft, as you thats the highest winter wave size in HK or other surf spots near by. I think the Hypto Krypto is a better choice for my require and my skill level. As I can improve the skill as well!

There is no such thing as a board that works everywhere, but one does have advantages over another. At my break, when it's small I need something that paddles easy, but at my break there is the occasional bomb that comes through that makes you wish you had a performance board on a small day. So, I compromised a little performance and went with a retro funboard. This one has hard rails and a pulled back tail, but still the volume to catch waves easily. I won't be taking it out if it's hollow or wedging, but my break is usually steep but not barreling, so perfect for there on small to medium days.

And yes, that is a new board...
