Porto vs Taghazout? Surfing in september

Hey!
Im plannig surf holodays with my friends in september (8-21) nad we are wondering about Porto in Portugal and Taghazout in Marocco.
Can you tel us in wich place will be better conditions for beginners in this term?
Maybe you know better places to surf? Let me know.
We are from Central Europe

Based on my friend from Porto, they don't have great surf spots. You need to go further down south.

Agreed with the above,
Portugal area around Peniche and Ericeira works a treat around September/October. Ericeira in particular offers a variety of surf breaks which are all relatively close to each other, and never disappoint in terms of waves consistency in those months. You can find brakes from beginners to pro's, though many of these are reef brakes, so make sure you ask around before paddling out, i.e. don't go for Coxos unless you know what you're doing ;) Be prepared for crowds in Ericeira. Peniche can be a bit more forgiving on a smaller day, and tends to be less crowded as a beach break, and if you're lucky you can get tubes ++ at Supertubos.
