Yes, and yes :D

I got one a year or so ago, and at first it was pretty difficult, but it was fun learning :D

Now it lives in my living room (where Ive got wooden floors, so it goes real fast) and I stand on it whenever Ive got ten minutes to spare (pasta boiling, bread toasting, that kinda thing).

Its really good for your balance and for keeping the muscles and joints moving smoothly for those times between sessions.

It definitely improves balance - Ive found I can make moves now where previously I'd have bailed out thinking it was all over.
For me at least, it doesnt directly improve turning skills as they're very different between indo and surf boards, but the improved balance/co-ordination/fitness does help indirectly.

also know as "sorry love i was busy and burnt the toast/pasta ......(and in my mams case water :shock: )

hey kmac

i made my own indo board turned out not too bad....was cheaper than buying it if nothing else.

Moncho...

they are quite fun to just roll around on, i havent really noticed a difference in my surfing but then i dont really use it as much as i should....

hahaha...

i think ill make mine as a 40Lx32W mebbe 3/4" or 1" thick. somehow a lotta construction dumpsters showed up around my house :D buildin time!
