Surf plane, Bush plane for exploring

Postby rexi » Sat Dec 29, 2018 5:20 pm

Hi Everyone just wanted to share this with you

My dad built a kick ass bush plane last year and now finished surfracks under it. Just thought i´d share it with you. We had one day of testing it before the plane is off due to maintanance for a few weeks.

here is an overlook of a sweet spot we found https://www.instagram.com/p/Br41ViaBDie/

That day wind was forecasted and minimum swell so we put windsurfing gear underneath, that was a big mistake since no wind arrived and a few waves were around.. better luck next time. Looking forward to do some more exploring with that setup :)

Awesome! You need to have a rack that can handle more than one board.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

yeah, i tried it with surfboards and it fits about 2 boards. The plane seats two passengers so it´s set for two surfers for some exploring :)

Since money is no object, add pontoons so you don't have to paddle out.
