Surf Information - Vancouver Island

Postby surf patrol » Wed Nov 19, 2003 5:27 pm

Hi there level27xx, welcome to Surfing Waves.
I have had an ask around and we do not have a great deal of information on VI. Long Beach is supposed to be pretty good and gets some decent swell. Cox's Bay and Wreck Bay are another couple of spots up there but we have no further information.
There are lots of opportunity for finding your own spots in the Pacific Rim national park.
Hope you get some waves - post any info you get on the island, we'd be interested to hear about it. Oh, you might want to invest in a decent wetsuit - we've heard it gets pretty cold up there.
