The culture of Japan is respectful and that is more important than race
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

I've had a few colleagues from Nigeria and Zimbabwe and they were so against Caucasians doing business in their country but fine with Chinese. They said it is a fair trade with the China because they build railroads, schools, infrastructure and it helps develop the country whereas the Americans/European only have greed and no respect for the locals. I said the Chinese are exploiting and are just doing it in a more subtle way and I don't think it is really a fair trade.

I feel like they are all kinda related. It shows how far you can get with a little respect to people's culture.

So hurricane Lane missed Kauai pretty much bringing only normal amounts of rain and wind. However my little island is slowly cracking at the seams. Every time there is a hurricane coming hoarders go to the stores and empty the shelves of water toilet paper and other items. Then once the hurricane passes to go back and return all those items. I guess really it is the stores who have a policy that allow such things to happen but seriously wouldn't you love to shop at a store where you can return everything? However this process costs the store money and those expenses have to be passed on to the non hoarders to recoup the costs involved in selling and taking back stuff for zero dollars. I think they should charge a 10% return fee for hurricane goods.

Looks like we are having prolonged heavy rains from the remains of Lane
