How to go to Praia do Norte - Nazaré?

Hello,

Soon I will be visiting Portugal and I would like to visit Praia do Norte in Nazaré a lot. I have the information that unless you have a car it is impossible to get there.

Does anybody know if it is possible to go to the beach by public transport or a taxi?

Don't know about getting there, will know after next week! Are you hoping to coincide with big swells, that might be even harder!. Good luck? Will post any information I get while in Portugal, hope there are big swells , I would like to be amazed!
