Viper V5 differences

Hi. Just bought a pair of orange splash V5 Viper as a backup pair from an online auction site.

Being the same size, M, they are a bit different, one has a lighter, more vivid orange, has softer rubber, is a bit larger on the foot pocket (about one size larger) and is a tad lighter (680g vs 800g).

Can they be from different batches? Maybe the seller lost one and replaced it at a latter time?

Any experiences with this kind of differences on Vipers?

The seller probably has a lot of bodysurfing fins and just threw 2 together to auction off. Hopefully, they'll perform like they should. Check the odd fin to make sure it is what the seller says it is--a genuine Viper V5.

I remember chatting with him over 30 years ago as he sat way off in the corner on a simple folding table displaying his revolutionary fins at the San Diego Action Sports trade show back in the 80's.

These are the Jaffa ones I use , but do not allow them to fall off your feet, they don't float!
