Bic's creating a RUCKUS on land and in the water

Here's some photos of a Bic I saw on a Honda Ruckus scooter at Kamakura beach.

Good way to keep the UV rays and rain off of you.

Here's a video of Bic riding someone else.

Quality surf rack. The video shows the best way to hurt yourself and to break your board on one two second ride.

heh maybe the new Bics are much lighter, otherwise I would be afraid to take any turns riding that.

Are indo style surf racks illegal in Japan? They would be in the States.

Lay the bike down and decapitate three people. What's not to like?

"Technically" board racks are illegal, but Shonan is a surf town, so cops look the other way. In the States, it depends on the state. Hawaii is okay on a moped or scooter.

That's the safety,,,,keep it from sliding out of the rack.

What happens if you fall to the side with the board? Where is your leg and can you catch it and keep it from falling?
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Answer: board, bike and rider wrecked.

What happens if I drive off a cliff? Some things better to avoid than find out.

I am pretty sure the board will keep the bike from getting too injured  I guess you are better on a bike than I was. I would feel handicapped if I couldn't put my leg down on that side

I mount and dismount from the left side ( kickstand side ) on both bicycles and scooter. At a stop, i put my left foot down. So I have my surf rack mounted on the right side.

Oh I get what you mean. You can put your legs down on both sides, but have to get off on the open side.

I mounted the rack purposely on the wrong side since the exhaust is on the other side.....have seen a few boards with pipe burns and wanted to avoid that.

When I bring a longboard on the bike rack, I don't have enough room for my left leg, it pushes against the knee. I fix that by wrapping my towel around the inner upright of the front holder. Works perfectly.

You can adjust the arms of the rack in or out to make more space....I opened up the front and pulled the rear in a bit and balance was marginally better.

Ha ha ha, you're right off course! I've seen the extra holes, but never gave it another thought.. :?
Still, I rather keep my towel system since I'm comfortable with the wide of my ride, an essential in this traffic ;)
