AMAZING!

Dudes, a couple of days ago I replied saying how crap I am at surfing, but tis fricken amazing how just 1 book (TB's book of hot surfing, GREAT BOOK!) and 1 session, even 1 wave! can make such an improvement.

I was crap, buit I paddled out the back on a pretty much empty line-up apart from a few spongers after the hour and a half drive to Jan Juc from Melbourne into 3-4 foot set waves that were coming through on a mild offshore.

I paddled hard at the wave, and penetrated the water with a clean duckdive, came back up, and was ready fora 4 foot wave. I paddled hard, and jumped straight up on an angle (because the waves werent that big I paddled diagonally) and was into a wave.

3 hours later and im getting turning and everything!

Cant wait till enxt time, itll be mint!

Good onya Globe, well done. Persistance pays off every time. I still remember my first decent session 30 odd years ago and I still get stoked just thinkin about it.

I bought TB's book for my son and he loves it. It's dog eared and worn he's read it so much. It's full of of great tips and I reckon a must have for any frothing Groms out there.
