Sacramento?

Postby Guest » Mon Jul 11, 2005 5:53 am

Ok so im stuck in Sacramento, CA for a year but i really really wanna learn to surf. I just moved from vegas and was nowhere near water so i wanna be there as often as possible. The only problem is that San Fransisco is the closest ocean and i know of and would assume there isnt an amazing amount of places to surf there. So basically is there anywhere in Nor Cal to surf? If so where are they and where is the closest to Sacto? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to California.

Take a trip west to San Francisco's Ocean Beach. Just be sure to bring your swimming skills and shark spray.

If you want to learn Pacifica is great (10 min south of SF).
