surfing has completely destroyed my interest to skateboard

There was a time where i would wake up in the morning and think "hmmm skate skate skate...where shall i skate today".

Now i wake up a few hours earlier than i did before and think " surf surf surf ".

I went for a skate today and ended up sitting down after about 5 mins coz i was booored.

Am I the only person this has happened to? huh huh?

It happened to me, but when a long flat spell hits you, you'll be getting the skateboard out again, but you'll now be carving rather than all about tricks!

Next thing you know you'll have one of those long skateboards!!

Dude, just make one. I made a couple of 5 footers - they are so fun to ride. Especially if you find yourself a nice long, smooth, slope - nice long, sweeping carves from one side to the other. Just make sure you don't go down a slope that's too steep - unless you know how to handle the dreaded wheel wobble. And make sure you invest in a decent pair of trucks made for longboards.
