Longboarding Techniques

Postby tomcat360 » Fri Aug 26, 2005 5:49 pm

hey yall,

dont mean to bother you with another similar post. i bought an old malibu(single fin, about 8.5-9 feet) from my uncle for 5 bucks a couple of years back, but i have only surfed it a couple times. i mainly ride shortboards, because whenever i ride my longboard, i cant really think of doing anything other than riding down the line. i havent really tried noseriding, but my board comes to a point at the end. what else should i do to make my longboarding more interesing?

thanks,
Tommy

Hire the latest longboard vid from the video shop. Check out the local longboard spot and see who's doing what.

Depending on the make of your board (how it responds and performs)you can do alot with it! On mine I can do top turns and bottom turns, Cut backs, floaters, 360's in the white wash. Hang ten too. I also had it made to do that. Cheap too.
