New Zealand Water Temps

Aloha everyone,
Ill be on the North Island of New Zealand in February. I have surfed NZ in March and it was a little chilly (wind chill) I'm not sure whether to get a 3/2 steamer or a short sleeve full suit. Ill be staying at Piha, Raglan and Mangawhai.

3/2 steamer would be my choice for that time of year.

If you look it up water temperature for Auckland it should come up with the average temperatures throughout each month.
