I think I saw him surfing pipe last week? He must be sponsored by now since 14 weeks can change a man from surfing a foamie to riding 4 meters.

Jesus in islam is the biggest prophet. We believe that he shall return to unify the world. Like christians do. So even tho im muslim. I love christmas. But i do not give an f about bighyvemind. Wah ? Wait a minute, I've just re-affirmed what you wrote about 4 meters waves. I even went back and re-read every comment I made to you. Each one was supportive and tried to help YOU become a better surfer. Please point out one comment that was being rude or offensive and allow me to explain if it was misconstrued. Dude, I had your back, gave you solid advice ......... and you call me a dick head.

Moderator's thoughts here for everyone, consider this , no flaming, name calling or insulting each other's beliefs etc.

If the name calling gets personal ( it is close to it now) then a lock on the topic is next.
Banning is also an option

Dream surf there has been a lot of good advice, some not so subtle disbelief of your claims, the name calling from both sides is IMHO not necessary.

It is a forum a robust exchange of ideas and advice, not dummy spitting.

hey jaffa it is not about the good advice here. keep things seperated. it is the constant inner circle and stubborn in every individual.

so let me put it how it is

me. an enthousiastic naive optimistic alive person. who just goes stoked and mental in this sport regardless the outcome trying calibrate what is good to ME. i dont do classes. it doesnt work for me. i have always individually learned stuff. montesorri schools all my life.

waikiki:
a person who is a teacher. and pretends to be worried for beginners. which is good. but gets mental when it doesnt go his way and bashes you for it like yeah i told you allready. but he doesnt accept people to find stuff themselves. a subliminal unconscious ego tripper. that has a very kind side that i admire and a dark side i despise. doesnt ask for eternal thanks but regardlessly silently expects it.

BigH.
somehow a victim of getting into the stream of bashing towards me and loves to feel better and say that im unexperienced and keeps saying that. well yeah thats life i guess. but that dont mean i should like it.

yungrom:
dont know the dude didnt give it an attention but he wanted to follow that stream i explained previously.

jaffa you are in the minority that tries to stay neutral even tho you find me overdoing stuff. and this is where i appreciate you. wise in listening and wise giving advise. and wise in leaving me in my stubbornity that maybe will be my foe or ally. adjustments in ways of doing.

and then we have i must say the best of manners and i love these guys i really do. billie morini and oldmansurfer. maybe by time ill ask them to come over when im in my house in morocco. they take me as i am and somehow recognize the characters that i have. they know its flawed. but they find it interesting anyway.

and waikiki dont cry about 3 or 4 meters. i dont have a freaking meter in my pocket to say precisely. do you? its a rough estimate. and yeah i paddled it and bodyboarded it cause i felt safer bodyboarding it. i swim it and then i paddled to it. did i surf it no.

at jaffa. you can ban me. but consider why they are like that and why i am like that with a sixth sense. if you want to participate in a topic ans hear hey beginner every time/ or hey you know your first day? and ok you open a topic and it gets said again.

well yeah i know it im a beginner. you know it they know it. its on table. it seems retarded to keep saying it when we know. my brother is fat. so we know. and maybe once a 2 years we deeply talk about his health but then after that you just live. he might dieat and train and he might not. so period you know

I highly doubt you paddled out in 4m bombing surf with storng offshore winds, it's not like you can become kelly slater in 3 months last video I saw of you was you paddling into ankle popper shore break I'm not sure where you could have gained the skillset to paddle and drop into 4m waves.
Plus I have yet to see a beach hold up during the swell we had, neither Rabat or Casblanca were surfable excluding some slabs , here's a video from the swell this week at a reef break in rabat, and this was when it was only 3m and you claim to be surfing 4m :unuts:

Surfing is fun. This forum is about Surfing. So it should be Fun too. I contribute (freely) on this forum to share my love for Surfing. If someone doesn't want / care for my advise that's okay with me. Sometimes it feels like talking to a brick wall for some people, but that's who they are, which is the way they learn.
DreamSurf wrote: but he doesnt accept people to find stuff themselves.

Actually to the contrary, the way I teach is the indirect method, sort of like Mr. Miyagi in Karate kid. You might notice I answer questions with questions of my own. Some posters say I sound Cynical or Rude, but again it's a method for them to learn the answer for themselves. My whole responses to your posting is actually helping you to find your true self indirectly. I could have said " there is no way you did a 2cm air" which would be direct. But I asked if "it was from the bottom of the board or from the fins?", hoping you would realize that 2cm. is non-measurement/statement.

My greatest reward as a teacher is when my students get those "Aha!" moments. When they say "Wow, now I get it". That huge smile on their face makes it all worth it. As a surf instructor, my students pay me to teach them. Here on this global forum, I contribute freely. I don't need any "Thanks", although it's nice to hear. What I really don't expect is to be called "dickhead".
Dreamsurf, if you are hurt in anyways I apologize. I understand you and your stoke for surfing. Please try to understand we were once in the exact position/level you're currently at. We know from hindsight and experiences you have yet to go thru. The more you are honest with yourself and us, the better we can help each other.

I think your depression and frustration is talking for you. Life has not turned out the way you wanted, but it does not mean you should insult people who are trying to help you. Face the facts, like everyone who started later in life, you won't ever be a great surfer, there will always be a ton of people better than you in the water. Be thankful for the days you spend getting wet in a shitty shorebreak, most people in the world don't get to do that. Be thankful you live in a first world country and you have your family with you.

look i dont hate you waikiki. but i felt the need to say where i find you wrong. and also the impression you give me. not to others.
im sure you are a very good person in common. everything i say about you may be truth or false. it is the impression you give me. if you are sure that you arent that type of man i described. than good riddance for such a bad character.

to give some clarification.

I KNOW

im a 3 months beginner surfer . who surfs at least 2 times a week. i know im not kelly slater. i didnt surf the 3m 4m wave. i went to it to get a smack. but i love to say to myself and say i went to it back to back to find that what i look for one day. that i can stand up and do that wave.
those were their words. yes i do not explain myself really well cause my english is only used on this forum. i do not have a membership in other forums and i find it very cool to evolve my english again on this platform

now dont blame me for being fleshin' up after being really polite for a really long time that at a certain extent you know when its time to stop being polite. i explained myself over and over on how i do things and how i acknowledge that my overwhelming hyped stoke that i have that brings me in problems in the sea. but i didnt die from them thank allah and i got better.

most of the time i just wait for a wave on a mid wave with my funboard and i surf. yes i surf. and im good at it but im a beginner so not on par to the veru advanced level. but ill get there. and you know 3 month will be 6 months and then a year and ill get better and better. but my character will always be a tad annoying cause im an adrenaline guy. and i describe that in the forum full of ideas and fantasies that might become real. i dont really ask anymiore. i just go surf. and yeah i ask when i see locals that surf a lot. or watchuing videos really does magic if you concentrate on foot and hand work and balance.

back on you. i am not taking anything back. yes you can be a bitch as well. and so can i. just to make it clear i dont hate you. but felt the need to put the impressions i have on table. now you know. and you do what you do. i wont go on about it. obviously all the help u guys gave me were a worthy part of my surfing. and i thank yall that helped me. but it dont mean i should be kicked afterwards. f that for real.

it dont matter how long you surf. it dont.

id like to end this mash up with a merry christmass to you all.

and this is how i see it. From the beginning of my journey untill the end. i had people and will have people telling me i cant do something or i will only get so far. That either drove me and drives me to become the best or otherwise it will stop at the stipulations that others have for me.

happy new year also. that the best may come from us
