Leaving my board

Postby CleanHeadHigh » Mon Aug 22, 2005 11:43 pm

Hey everyone, new here, i've been surfing the east coast because im out here at my uncles house. I'm from the west coast and havent had to worry about weather. I'm not sure what to do with my board. If i can leave it under the porch open to the elements. its gets really cold here in the winters and dont want the new board i bought to get wrecked. i'd leave it in the house but theres no room anywhere. Would appreciate the help. thanks.

Try getting a rack for your room?

Take the skeg off and put it under the bed. Or lean against the wall, tight. Or hang flat against the ceiling.

Cold probably not destructive. (I could be wrong.) But fiberglass, epoxy, and foam are pretty stable in cold temps.

Garage would be fine, even under a porch, so long as it wasn't in the dirt and growing stuff . . .
