Boards in Tamarindo, Costa Rice

Postby Big Break » Tue Apr 20, 2004 6:03 pm

Does anyone know how much it cost to buy a board in Tamarindo, and if it is easy to re-sell. I just got screw because I am flying with Delta, and I was not told until after I bought the ticket that one leg of the trip is with their commuter airline, Coms air, and they don't accept surf board.

Me and a crew of five are headed there the begining of May. Any advice on good uncrowed spot to hit up. Any advise on truck rentals too.

hi there! i´m from costa rica and very familiar with the tamarindo area. you can either check the robert august surf shop at the tamarindo vista villas hotel, or high tide surf shop, they have great boards for sale, and they will usually buy them back from you at reasonable prices!
