Report on the Jaffa!

Postby jaffa1949 » Sun Oct 30, 2016 6:01 am

Well surgery was done on the 25th of October, my cancerous prostate was remove by a robot called da Vinci.
The bits are being examined to see if anything else is needed. Hope not, and seems likely that's how it will turn out.
Had a heart event ( atrial fibrillation ) and at the moment the 600 km drive home is little much, so still holding down a hospital bed.

It looks like a very jelly Jaffa might be in the water early next year. But I intend to shoot surf from the shore!

All as good as it can be.
Jaffa

Jaffa, fingers crossed and all the best. Sounds like you are in Melbourne? Or Sydney? either way, big cities, got to get out of there!

Hope the recovery is smooth. Operated on by a robot? How cool is that!
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

While you recover you have time to perfect the knee board and straighten out our mistakes.
Take care my friend!

Nice work Jaffa and glad to hear everything went as planned. Coming from a recent experience i know how much it sucks to just lie in a hospital bed for days and get woken up at 6am every morning by nurses wanting to take tests haha! All the best!

Jaffa is home in own bed, all drips drains etc remove, exhausted after being driven 600 kilometres.

Thanks for all the thoughts :D

Yes, but they probably aren't worn out from a intense medical treatment unless heavy drinking counts as a intense treatment
