New board worth buying? HELP

Hey so this is time sensitive so help would be greatly appreciated.
I am not new to surfing but I dont know the worth of boards so I dont know if I should buy this board or not. Any advice on if i should get it or not?

condition (my observations when looking at it in person):
-6ft
-pointed nose (like the common short board)
-winged swallow tail (i think thats what its called)
-minor dings
-a few thumb nail size holes it it (like if you pressed your finger and it cracked along where your nail is so not a circular hole)
-3 carbon fiber fins several inches long maybe 6in
-and the brand is JB http://jblairsurf.com/
the board is $250 final offer.

should i get this?

Not worth the money, but for us to really helpful you need to be realistic about " not new to surfing" what do you mean by that?
An honest assessment of your height weight age,and experience ( I'm reading "little" from you not knowing about surfboards, no shame in that!!!).
Pictures of the boards that interest you help too!
Read through the surfboard advice and also post where you plan to surf.

Time sensitive is a sad state to be in for buying a board, you are liable to buy a piece of rubbish , good on you for asking about it.
BTW what is your rush? Let that one go I suspect it is not the one for you as a beginner>

What was the price new ? Half price of new is usually what we valued used boards as a okay price. Depending on the condition the price goes up or down.

Three 6 inch fins ! Wow, you must have tree trunks for legs. 4.5" tall fins seems about right for most Thruster set-ups.

I've ridden about three different Joe Blairs. He builds them a bit fuller and rounder but still with a pointy nose. Most of his boards now are round pins, he really believes that's the best tail design. So not sure how old that board is.
