Good long beginner/intermediate wave destination suggestions

We have 2 weeks in late July and we want a consistent long 3-5 ft wave to practice our turns. We have done some great surf camps in Ercieria, Sagres, Fig de Foz and Prai de Gale but the waves were not that long and small apart from the reef break in Ericeria which was great. We have always surfed with a wet suits so some where warm would be ideal with a direct flight from London. After hours on Google and not getting satisfying all the criteria I thought I would ask for suggestions. Costa Rica and Bali looked ideal but no direct flights. First post so thanks in advance.

Bali has a lot of waves but July is peak season....surf is pumping, crowds are high and really competitive and when there is a lull in the swells the hordes really come out and unless you go out on dawn patrols at your presumed beginner/intermediate level (what does that mean anyway?) you will pretty much have to drop in on someone to get a wave that would fit your bill as better surfers will queue up deeper, snake and snatch waves from under your nose, or just drop in on you because half the time you bog out and lose the wave.

I've never been to Costa Rica or anywhere else in the world to surf for that matter.....I wouldn't come here in July though unless you're ready for crowds and/or prepared for overhead+ that can last for a week or more in a row, let up for a couple of days then start up again.

Consider the Maldives or Sri Lanka, either or Morocco, or Canaries but it all depends on where you are based.

Moroccan here, waves are great but not amazing, family members and friends have surfed in bali and they all told me they're had some of their best waves of their lives there, so consider bali a higher priority than Morocco.

Have you looked into going to El Salvador search Punta Mango our guest house (http://www.damangohaus.com)is on the cliff above this almost secret spot, but for a beginner you should try El Sunzal in the west coast of El salvador, the right is about 250 yrds long one of the longest and very easy to surf and has plenty of beginners, but they are taught not to get in the way, so they are polite and giving, any intermidiate surfer could get some of the longest waves of a life time. Easy turning waves no real barrelling dangerous stuff here, maybe at 15 ft. and surf season is may to oct, July is prime time, you can stay in El Tunco for 40-50 US(dollars are used in country only)Air cond. no air roughing it, you can find a place for 10-20US a night, El tunco has night life and bars, I Like Mopelia hotel they are on facebook also, almost on beach 2-300yds to the right and 100yds for la bocana a left/right river mouth that is also good also...good luck hope they have a direct flight for you, Id give up on Bali to crowed to big to many tourist, if you do go check out Lullaby Bungalows a short walk to Padang Padang, and a beautiful little gem of check it online top rated not that expensive, but nice...
