Call me spoiled. I spend as much time here as in www.discusscooking.com

http://www.discusscooking.com/forums/

I have a 36 qt ice chest/cooler, Weber "Go Anywhere" gas grill. And I cook -- Ohhhhhhh Jeez do I cook!

Usually I toss about 2 lbs London Broil in the cooler, stir fry veggies, BBQ sauce. 12" wok, soy sauce, a passel of herbs.

At least a short case of beer, but these days it's a 30 pack of 12 oz cans. 1/2 gallon Kentucky Bourbon. Some mixers -- cola. Ice, water.

The surf beach has a parking strip along the road-side. We park in the strip, surf, set up cooking along the beach. Most of the time it turns into a communal beach feast/party.

The other half of the reason I surf. :D

At least you can all choose what you eat, i'm in catered halls of residence here in Auckland and the food is crap. The choice is usually between brown mush or green mush :( beans on toast would be a luxury right now.....
