I have Valentine's Day and Monday off this week. Great news, right? Wrong! The forecast for Sunday is 3-5 feet at 14 seconds and Monday will be pancake FLAT. With 40 years of marriage under my belt I have to make the adult decision, but....

Well BoMan, 40 years of training haven't gotten your wife where you want her yet? Just kidding Women...can't live with them and can't afford the divorce settlement....just kidding again. Well at least she lets you go surfing once in a while. My wife has come to prefer me to be surfing rather than some of the other things I may occupy my time with. I used to go fishing and playing pool.

Update....the forecast for Monday just changed. It's now 1-2 feet. Bring it!

I barely drink, I don't hang out at the Pub or club, don't play golf ( Choices that were made long before wife 1 or 2) surfing is my stress management. I come back a better human being after a good surf and mostly after a bad one too!
My wife doesn't surf!
If I am with my wife I am totally there, and she has the things she does to enrich life ( quilting her way to enlightenment )
We actually enjoy hanging out together and we talk through so much of our relating (works for us 35 years so far).
A problem is faced by the question "what can we do to solve this in the best way for us?"
We have had some serious big ticket items over a long period to deal with, some are still current but we are a team and fully trust each other in these issues.
