Awesome, looks fun. Isn't it fun? I am not sure what more you might want to do. Maybe the others will be able to suggest something
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

 Another reason why using a GoPro comes as a bit of a shock!

Looks like you're doing alright 8)

One thing is that it looks to me like you're swinging your arms around and hoping that the board will follow rather than engaging your weight through the board and your body. If you swing your arms, you'll just unbalance yourself without a great deal of effect on the direction of the board.
For the turn (or the pump along the face as here), your weight should be going through your rear foot, and then lead with the arms but turn with the shoulders and the hips.
You'll probably find me surfing, but if not, I'll probably be in the photography studio

Learn to move your feet, either by weighting the front and back to put pressure on the board to enhance your turn.
Lead with your leading hand toward where you want to be on the wave ( make sure you are also looking towards where you want to be). Often beginners swing their upper body and think they are turning ( not). Upper body wiggles only marginally effect the board without force through the feet! Learn to use your knees and ankle to drive the board. Best evidence of this is where your lean turn at the top fails, no drive through feet wave knocks the board from under you!
Learn to accelerate the board by putting down front foot pressure!
Your ankles are important tools giving you both front to back and side to side pressure and traction on each foot subtle control devices!

Upper body movement should wind force downward through the body, hips knees and ankles into the board to enhance power and traction driving the turn.

Your beginning elements are OK but your surfing is a work in progress ( as it is for us all) :D

Get someone on the beach to shoot you, the things you need to do will be more obvious!
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

Thanks everyone

Isnt pumping should be done with the front foot puting pressure on the rails
Not the backfoot?

Others may disagree with me but in my mind when you make a bottom turn you have to put more pressure on your back foot but you don't want to do a prolonged bottom turn just a quick turn and unweight or hop back up the wave then front foot pressure is greater on the top turn and you weight or press the board back down. In order to weight and unweight your body has to be leaning off the board so that by falling in that direction you can bring the board under your center of gravity as you weight or unweight but then it continues on to a falling posture again as you complete the weighting or unweighting. However although I am explaining this most surfers do this without knowing what they are doing. It just comes from practice.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
