Should I Get This Board?

I'm 14 Years Old, 5'7 and 60kg and im currently riding a 7'2 Minimal and saw this 6'3 Chilli Surfboard for $30 and was wondering if i should get it for later down the track?? It's 6'3 x 18 1/2 x 2 5/16 (i think cant really see from the picture) i do know and trust the buyer as hes one of my boxing coaches hahaha thoughts??? doesnt come with fins or a strap

Sure, it might be be a few years until you can use it but seems pretty good for $30 and you can always give it a go now and then and see bow you are progressing.

Might not be that long - you are young and will learn fast; depends on how often you surf. Might be 6 months, might be less or more.

I also thought the tail pad was too high. It couldn't be because of the camera angle. Found out it should be a Jake Patterson model. Most of the white tail kick is ripped off. That's why it looks so high.

He could get one of these to stick on....

BTW, for 30 bucks, heck yes, get that board. Worst case scenario is that it doesn't work out for you and you sell it on for the same price (don't be greedy, bad karma).

At $30 from a trusted friend, what's not to like? Buy it, get a bottom section for the traction pad, put some fins on it, and try riding it. If you like it, then keep it. If not, then sell it for $85 on Craigslist. Have fun.
