Surftrip March / April

Hey Everyone!!
My first post here .
I hope you guys can shed a light on my doubts. Basically I want to make a surftrip on March / April, 2 weeks.
I' m looking for places with really good waves and between 2-7ft.
I'm an intermediate basic surfer, so I'm really looking to improve my surfing level overall and have fun while doing it.

I was thinking to go for Bali, although I'm still not sure if the rainy season could be a safe bet. I was there during October, 2 years ago and really enjoyed it.
I searched the forum but I'm still not sure if its a good bet or not.

Apart from indo any other destination that you guys recommend?

What kind of board do you normally ride. That info will help to give a better recommendation of surf spots.

I ride with a 6'5 (21; 2.7 - mini malibu style) and my weight is 85 kg. I still have a lot to learn thats why i.wanted some nice walls to practice practice practice... I have to improve how i read a wave and react intuitively (dont know if the word exists) to the changes and moreover i really need to improve the speed generation, bottom drag and commitment in my shady "top turns".
My background as surfer is beach breaks and to less extent point breaks. I come from Portugal by the way. Although im not living there at the moment.

Vuek , late March beginning April Indonesia is early season, not quite as consistent but good prospects, less crowds none the less! Not as rainy as you might believe( keep it quiet though) . Other than Indo , try early Maldives or Sri Lanka ! The Southern Hemisphere winter swell are jus starting to crank a little, similar to Indo, but well worth it for less crowds.
