Indonesia?
Sri Lanka?

I've been to those parts of Mexico....pretty dry, not much outside of surfing though you could learn Spanish....I'm partial to Indonesia....you could come here for six months and spend a few weeks in different places (Nias, Sumbawa, G land, Bali, north Bali, Lombok)....

There are girls everywhere though ....that one is easy. . A friend of mine is married to a woman from Nias he met while there.....lighting could strike again.....

A sort of depends, depends on where you are starting from.
There are visa requirements and often they need specific visas for a six month stay a valid passport for at least more than six months, a return ticket booked.

What do you call cheap? That too, will determine much.
Obviously not five star, more like feral at the level of grass hut and fish and rice diet. Not particularly attractive to girls, BTW.
You need to know that if you are coming from a first world country no matter how cheap you go, you will be considered wealthy!

Now what six months were you thinking of, because there are distinct surf seasons! Determines which side of the island you surf.
There are certainly places to stay around $ 30 U.S. A night!
