GSI doesn't in itself makes board. The factory that produces the boards for them also makes parts for Ducati's and Ferrari's. They have ISO9002 certification un-like most local surfboard builders. The same factory that makes the Moderns ALSO makes the mass produced Waldens.
And I'll ask again, Question, do you want to ride more progressive or classic ? Progressive being more cutbacks, pumping tail riding. Or Classic riding from the nose and drop knee turns. Reason being is the Modern will be better for more Classic style, while the Waldens are more for Progressive riding.
During your limited research, have you found any manufacturer that has a poor record of producing longboards? Any surfboard brand that are known for poorly made boards ? I don't know of any.
