I especially like their surf trunks....I have a speedo I wear under my shorty, makes parking lot changing a lot easier, but would be afraid of hanging considerably more than "10" if I wore them alone.....

I haven't ever used a soft top surfboard ...well except for my SUP boards which are like miniature boats. But yeah everyone always wants to blame their boards but lots of time it is the surfer who doesn't know how to make a board perform.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Is that pipeline? If so then it doesn't look so dangerous to wipeout....

I bet JOB could tell us all something about how and when to wipeout and when not to at Pipeline

Its the difference between someone who is totally at home with water and waves and surf equipment; and the rest of us who still are trying to figure out how things work and what will happen and are a little bit unsure/afraid.

Basically the difference between spending 50 hours a week every week in the water from age 6 and, well, not doing that.

Oh, for heaven's sake, there's a level of talent which I'm just not prepared to accept. :unuts:
You'll probably find me surfing, but if not, I'll probably be in the photography studio

Yeah....have to give credit where it is due.....growing up in the ocean is a prerequisite but not a guarantee. Used to hear it a lot around golf courses......preconception and wrongly conceived notion that all it took to be a pro was practice.......talent can't be learned but watching videos of guys like this it sure can be recognized......

BaNz,That is benign pipeline, the sand is in JOB knows as OMS said how to wipeout there!

Full pipe is something else again, also consider this is what is underneath
pipelinereef.jpg

Then three or more times that depth is about to fall on and drive you into a crevice if you FAIL.

Then they have a janitorial system to remove body parts from the reef

It looks like there is a surfer who duck dived right in front of the shark

I hear that when it is flat surfers go out and collect fins from boards that lay scattered over the reef at Pipeline. I have a friend who was a top female surfer from long ago who is at a class reunion at a house on the beach at Pipeline. She said all the others in her class were surfers as well but it's summer and not too much surf there unless the current hurricane makes some.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

I wonder if he soiled himself. I would.

I had a panic attack when I saw a jellyfish the size of my torso.

I also cried when I saw fishes swam underneath my board. Cos straight away I'm thinking these type of fish is probably the ones that swims underneath large fishes like sharks... In my defense I was alone in the water and it was dusk at a spot that people rarely surf. yes I'm a wimp.
