Yup, watching the tournament live right now. You can, too (free):

This is the Men's Samsung Galaxy Championship Tour #6, Round #2. ZAF wildcard, Slade Prestwich, nearly beat tournament leader, Adriano de Souza. This heat was the first of the of the day, was 35 minutes long, and started at 07:30.

All of the WCT tournaments are free online at http://www.worldsurfleague.com/
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

In addition if you missed them you can go to the WSL site and click on events then go to the contest you missed and click on it then chose heat analyzer and watch it or whatever rounds or waves you want to watch or for the contest currently running you can go there and they usually have the previous heats within a dy or two of running. For the Jbay contest this is really good for me because it runs 12 hours different time from Hawaii so I am watching the begining and the end but the middle part I miss. I tried to wakeup to watch Seabass's heat on TV (I subscribe to the Surf Channel) but only watched the beginning then fell asleep :)

I am happy Keanu made it through to the next round. He beat Joel Parkinson, Gabriel Medina and Josh Kerr. Great for him so far. I managed to watch his heat on the TV before I fell asleep (and also the Kelly Slater- Kolohe Andino heat)

What a let down that heat was. Fanning vs Medina vs Slater vs small sloppy crumbly waves

I'm watching too. Scary stuff. Going to take nerves of steel for them to continue on with the final.

The sharks were apparently not interested in Mick but he was close by to what they were interested in

My Mrs, who's not remotely into surfing, just texted me: "Mick Fanning - Ultimate Australian"

Well done that man, they breed them hard round here.
You'll probably find me surfing, but if not, I'll probably be in the photography studio

Shark attack occurred moments before final between Mick Fanning and Julian Wilson. Tourney called and Fanning and Wilson agreed to each take seconds and split the prize money for win and place.
