I don't get it, the guy looks like he was going to chase after her. But why was she running... I don't think he was going to beat her.

Either that or she saw shark in the water. That would be my reaction.

probably either husband or surf instructor and just worried that she was OK. Pretty spectacular wipeout. I think she just knew she was in over her head so to speak and was done with it. I almost want to try to do that. Looks like it might be fun.

Every once in a while I end up watching this video again!
It was a historic swell that hit Noronha (Brazil) in 2013. I know it might not impress people that live in Hawaii and see Jaws and Waimea breaking with more frequency, or people from NorCal, that have Mavericks awaken at winter. But it thrills me to know my country has space to some big surf like that, and I dream to see (maybe still a little early to say surf ) those waves!
