Looks like Ireland will block it until around 18th/ 19th, then it looks pretty good - haven't checked wind conditions yet though.

We've had f all waves for ages and then there was a single tide swell popped up from nowhere - which I missed :x and then flat again into the forseable future!

Here is the mystery swell that only lasted 1 tide then vanished! Its about 3ft.

Nah it was July 5th. I didn't take the photo, just saw it on the east coast surf site after the swell had vanished :x .

Nice one! Its going to get busy thats for sure.
SJ's reckoning its not going to be great though :? :?

'Well the good weather is due to come to an end as this week draws to a close. As the dominant high pressure begins to move away next week we are faced with several days W-NW winds and weak onshore windslop. This could get up to about 3ft/waisthigh in size but it will be p**s poor in terms of quality and hold little or no shape. As for Friday onwards, the prospects are looking good with a return to flat conditions. When will this barren spell end????!!!!!'

Fingers crossed its actually going to be ok...
