Dong Dong , you can't go wrong wrong if you stay long long
until you get get skill skill
then you won't get caught caught by going short short.
For you fish will stink stink and they won't swallow, there's the tale.

Stop trying to find a perfect board, just go surfing on what you have,
you are very much a beginning beginner, if you can po up easily and do little turns on a bigger board do so :!:
When you can do big turns then look at going short.
AND THAT IS THE LONG AND THE SHORT OF IT :!:

I can't recommend either one, because I don't understand what you mean. Just like what you think is a "bigger" wave, what you think and what another person thinks may differ. Thus what is a small fish size in your mind. What is a "normal fish" size in your world. To me a Fish is under 6'0". Most fishes I've sold are 5'8" to 5'10". Twin or quad. If it has three fins, then it's more a swallow tail hybrid shortboard. If it's 7'0" + , that's not a fish. It's a Whale !

My fish is 5'7" ( it has 3 fins but not a thruster )

Dong Dong, Are you based in Malaysia? Then not much of what we are are saying will be of great help!. Where do you surf there?
There are some reasonable spots Cherating and Desaru spring to mind!
But most times lack of power is a problem, stick with longer boards going short will not work where there is little power in the waves unless you are a very good surfer who can drive the board hard.
Seriously although I have been a little lighthearted at your expense , I would really like to see you succeed! :D

The fact that pale yellow Docs was the best thing about that clip is a trifle sad. Cos they were abominable.

In return, some 7mm wetsuits for your neck of the woods
