Ok guys here is the finished dissertation... converted to .pdf

----------------------------
http://www.undeb.bangor.ac.uk/surf/Sewa ... munity.pdf
----------------------------

I'd like to add that on refection during and post compleation of this dissertation I feel I took on a task too big. Its such a massive area to examin and I think the end result represents the starting block for specific research into how surfers are affected by water quality in all respects.

Hope its insiteful and brings a tad more awearness about poor coastal water quality of which is inexcusable. Please if anyone wants to coninue this work, has questions or wants to pass it onto anyone else please do!

It should be back up... the uni servers go down on monday evening. Plus weekends the staff are away and the system if hacked shuts down and has to be manually restarted.. Bah!

Come on over to San Diego and do a study here for the Tiajuana River. Our friends to the south dump their untreated sewage straight into the river and of course, the river flows to the ocean. The river empties just to the south of the border, and with a south swell, it heads staright for Imperial Beach. I don't surf there at all, but it has some good breaks. One thing you certainly want to do is check the water quality reports before you go out there.
