Can't get myself to surf big waves..

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has given me advice on this thread. It has actually really helped; I have gone out in some bigger surf than I am comfortable with and have kept my cool and felt pretty confident. I think if I just slowly build up my confidence I will be able to overcome my fear. Thanks again guys!
