Removing wax from my foam top?

So I know how to remove wax from a board, ive watched some videos but I have been riding a 7ft soft top for a while and have been using wax. The wax is getting a little dirty now and im thinking of trying to clean it up without causing damage obviously because i don't want to use a hair dryer then try scrape it with a comb or card or something because its only foam and i dont want to damage it.

Any tips?

You could just leave it in the sun.

Possibly a wax remover, although check that it wont melt the foam

Or perhaps something like the Pickle wax remover might work
