waterproof sunblock

Postby surfdude1982 » Tue Jul 15, 2014 9:47 am

Hi,

I’m looking for a very good sunblock that is waterproof to cover a big scar on my head. I cannot be exposed to sun.

What would you advise me?

Thanks
Johan

That looks good. I like invisible zinc, forms a protective barrier and works for 4 hrs. You can put normal sunscreen underneath as well if you want more protection.

Actually, thinking about it, why not a hat? I know Jaffa wears one and he can probably give you some thoughts on what to look for. I've heard good things about the protecSun hats, but am still pretending I have a full head of young mans hair, so don't wear one myself.

Given your situation, a hat seems very worthwhile even if it might be a bit of a pain sometimes. Sunscreen underneath just in case.

Sun is very tough on me. I wear a very thin hood made by oneil.

When it is possible to go without hood, i put Bullfrog water proof sunblock on my head.
