Phuket Surf

Hi, I was in Phuket in May '06 with a shortboard - i drove all over the island with little success. The only beach that the locals seemed to stay at was Kata Noi. I had a couple of decent days there and a lots of flats ones. OThe others beaches, Surin, Bang Tao etc didn't offer any decent waves.

Hi All,

Just want to bring this post up again since i'll go to Phuket 16-20 June so wondering where to surf there.
Read couple of articles said that Kata and Patong area are good for surfing.

Please let me know which the best area to surf in June.
I'm gonna need to arrange the hotels too..
