Help me find a board

Yeah, I'm in a big dilemma. I really liked my board, it was a 5'10 Al Merrick Flyer Tuflite, pretty beat up but very surfable.
Only a 6' glass flyer would give the same results but be way heavier. Also I'm having problems finding good boards on craiglist here at L.A. compared to San Diego, I see pretty good deals in S.D. I just don't want to drive all the way there.

My budget is $200 max. What popular models can I find in L.A. similar to the Al Merrick FLyer?

Something buoyant enough for small to head high surf (like the flyer), easy to surf, does not pearl much (like the flyer) and good for intermediate level surfer.
