Philippines in March; Indonesia in Feb

Hi,

I have questions about two countries:

1. Does any know if there is any good surfing in March in the Philippines? I was going to go check out Siargao but I not really sure what it's going to be like. I am also not sure if the wave is going to be suitable for me as a beginner.

2. Also does anyone know if there is any good surfing in Indonesia in February for a beginner still learning to catch unbroken waves. I was originally going to go to bali but I read it's not a good place to surf in Feb. Or alternatively if its not even worth trying to find beginner waves in Feb in Indo, could you please let me know.
