Coil surfboards!

Postby pandarturo » Mon Jan 06, 2014 3:40 am

Okay guys long story short I saw one of these at my local break and thought it was super cool. I did some more research and apparently they aren't just cool, they function extremely well! With that said I was wondering if any of you guys have heard or might even possess one of these beautiful shred sticks and have any input! Mahalo

Is it as dent proof as they say it is?

I think so. I have slight heel dents but looks way better than my firewire. I missed a duck dive and got slammed into a pier with the board several months ago and to my surprise there was no damage. I don't think the boards are indestructible but they are pretty tough for how light they are. The flex is pretty wild and would probably be epic in some more juicy waves. There's several on the big island I think. I saw some when I took a trip back in nov.

Sweet sounds like a nice ride. I just got a m80 a few days ago. Took less than 3 months so not too bad of a wait.

Got to say that I'm loving both my coils now. Got the megamind for Texas mush but it definitely shines in shin to knee high mush in Florida. Linking turns together while everyone else goes down the line on a longboard is pretty satisfying.
